Scope
Create a food guide for new students that illustrate what Vanier College has in its cafeteria.

Process
Created from actual cafeteria food photos, the items are converted into lively vector illustrations. Naturalistic textures (added in Illustrator/Photoshop) bring depth and realistic detail. Textures mimic natural cues—crumbles, glazes, leafy variance—lifting flat vector art into more tactile visuals. This use of texture supports visual salience and user engagement. This self‑contained, illustrative food guide marries photography, vector illustration, texture work, typographic design, and layout to create a useful, engaging resource. It’s both creatively expressive and functionally effective—a cohesive UX piece built with empathy and consistency.
